In 2023, customers are more spoilt for choice than ever before as regards the sheer number of options they have when choosing a bookmaker. To even begin to compete with them they’d need huge operational and marketing budgets, a big headcount and plenty of other resources.
So Bet Rhino have taken a very different approach: they’ve looked at what most customers are most interested in betting on in terms of the sports in question and the markets within those sports, have built a decent site, the odds are competitive and there are a few offers to take advantage of as a way to give something back and keep customers engaged. It’s a perfectly acceptable approach that’s likely to appeal to two types of customers in particular: the beginner who wants to keep things simple. And the discerning punter who knows what they like, tends to place the same sort of bets and just wants to focus on that rather than the rest of ‘the noise’.
So, they’ll certainly have a following who will enjoy the ‘no frills’ approach; but that does admittedly come at a price. The more sophisticated customer may not be best impressed by such things as: the absence of certain sports including the increasingly popular eSports, no live streaming, a very limited number of payment options, little content beyond the EPL stats and fewer promos than some of its competitors.
And perhaps above all: the current absence of a welcome offer entirely. Although as we explain below, a sign-up bonus isn’t the be-all-and-end-all when it comes to a bookie. But we think they have laid some good foundations already for a company less than two years old.
The challenge that a lot of brand-new sports betting sites have is a lack of experience when it comes to understanding the unique characteristics of what it means to have a good sportsbook that keeps customers happy. To get the free spins, you’ll need to place a qualifying bet of £20 or more on the game’s correct score market. In truth, it’s not the greatest value-for-money offer you’ll see in the world of online betting today. The 25 free spins are only worth £2.50 so just 12.5% of the value of your qualifying bet. But if you were going to place a correct score bet of £20 or more on the correct score market anyway, you might as well claim it.
Bet Rhino betting is available across around 20 different sports. Now, that’s not that much compared to some of the other better-known bookmakers who cover just about any sport in the world played at a professional level. That means you won’t be able to bet on such things as: handball, skiing, surfing, volleyball or field hockey. Another notable absentee is eSports, which are all the rage at the moment.
But in keeping with their ‘no frills’ or ‘focus on what matters’ approach, they’re putting their resources into the big sports that most people want to bet on rather than the niche ones with a cult following that don’t actually bring in that much business. So those are the most popular ones here at Bet Rhino. Now is the time in this Bet Rhino betting review where we consider the special features that they’ve made an effort to have in order to make a customer’s life easier or just add a little bit of sparkle to their experience.

Not at Bet Rhino. Navigate to the EPL Stats tab at the top of the homepage and you’ll find all sorts of insightful and helpful data relating to the Premier League.

This may not be the first thing you think of as a betting feature but it’s certainly something to be taken seriously. Bet Rhino take responsible gambling more seriously than most and one of their banners on the homepage has a section all about it.
It will identify warning signs that you or others may have a gambling problem, initial steps you can take to keep gambling under control, tools you can use to limit deposits or losses and of course, instructions as to how to go about self-excluding if you feel it’s time to go down the route. It also provides links to charities and other counselling organisations that you can contact if you feel you have a gambling problem.
This is hardly the sexiest element of online gambling but it’s certainly an extremely important one and it’s nice to see that Bet Rhino see things that way, as well.

They’ve obviously realised the importance of a good betting app because it’s just as good on Android and iOS, downloading is easy, quick to use and gives you just the same experience as what you’d get on your computer.
