West Ham v Arsenal – Will Arsenal Keep The Same Point Gap?

Arsenal dropped two points last week at Liverpool in their chase for their first Premier League title in 19 years, but are expected to return to winning ways this Sunday against relegation-threatened West Ham United.

This is a perfect game for Arsenal to bounce back with a win and put the pressure back on Manchester City at the top of the table. West Ham managed to scrape a 1-0 away win a Fulham last weekend to ease the pressure on Manager David Moyes and moved them further up the table and outside the relegation zone. This was a huge 3 points for The Hammers, who lost 5-1 at home to Newcastle in their last home game, where some of the goals were self-inflicted.

With a pretty good record at The London Stadium, Arsenal will be looking to take advantage of West Ham’s in different home form this season, plus with West Ham on Europa Conference League duties on Thursday night, they won’t come into this as fresh as the title challengers.

Arsenal are renowned for being one of the fittest teams in the Premier LEague and will relish starting the game quickly and looking to grab an early goal or two and put the game out of reach of the home side.

With in-form Jesus and Martinelli ready to heap more misery on defenders, Arsenal will be also looking to bring down the goal difference, which is currently in favour of Manchester City.

This will be an interesting game for West Ham captain Declan Rice, who is being courted by Arsenal this summer. Rice is keen to advance his career and with Champions League football almost certain for Arsenal, he will be looking to put on a big performance here.

Punter.Pub English Premier League – West Ham v Arsenal Best Bet

After winning bet last week for Punters.pub in Liverpool v Arsenal with our over 3.5 goals selections, we’re looking for back to back success. We’re putting up a couple of selections this week with our first being in the half time / full time market. Our top bet of the week is Arsenal / Arsenal (Arsenal to be leading at half time and win the game) at 29/20 with Coral.

We expect Arsenal to come out of the blocks on Sunday and get ahead before the break and then secure victory. Our 2nd tip is Arsenal (-1) on the Asian handicap at 8/5 with Betfred. This means our pick is Arsenal to win by 2 or more goals against West Ham.

Coming into the game with a point to prove, fresher and with an excellent record against West Ham, our belief is Arsenal can win this comfortably. A 3-1 win at The Emirates this season over West Ham followed by West Ham’s 5-1 defeat at home to Newcastle last time out are stats we look at when sharing our 2nd pick for this match.
