We are in for a fascinating Europa League final and it wouldn’t surprise anyone if this was a low scoring game with the possibilities of a penalty shoot out to decide the winners.
The Europa League final will see two serial winners enter the frame, the first is Sevilla, who have won the Europa League the most and have a love affair with the competition. Whether they are in the tournament from the outset, or drop down from the Champions League, Sevilla have a knack of navigating their way to the final… and winning.

Sevilla will be tough to beat, they don’t give up too many chances and know how to put the ball in the back of the net. Given their affection with the competition, it my just give them the edge.
However, Sevilla come up against serial ‘trophy’ winner Jose Mourinho. There is no better manager, bar Pep Guardiola, than winning trophies with multiple clubs.
Having won the Champions League with Inter Mila, Mourinho then won the Europa Conference League for Roma, their first trophy in over two decades, Mourinho can once again land a major European trophy, to add to his collection.
Roma have Lorenzo Pellegrini as their main target man and can cause defences big problems. In Edoardo Bove, Roma have a match winner, having scored the all important goal in the semi-final.
Sevilla | 17/10 with Paddy Power |
Draw | 2/1 with William Hill |
Roma | 19/10 with Bet365 |
This promises to be a very close Europa League final. Expect this to be a very tight game and Roma to defend very deep and well. Sevilla are likely to be the aggressive side playing more of the football, but you can’t count out Roma to be decisive on the counter attack.
Our first punters.pub bet of the day is the match to end in a draw at 2/1 with William Hill. There isn’t going to be a lot between the teams and this one may well go all the way to penalties.
A 2nd Punters.pub bet would be 6/1 Roma to win the Europa League Final on Penalties.
