American Football: Philadelphia Eagles @ Seattle Seahawks (Tue 19th December 1.15am)

The Philadelphia Eagles lost to divisional rivals Dallas Cowboys last week and need to bounce back this week to give themselves a chance to win the NFC East.

In recent weeks, Philadelphia Eagles have had a tough run of games including Buffalo Bills, San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys. They now have a good set of fixtures coming up to the end of the regular season and with many of their top offensive players fit and healthy, they can get back to their early season excellent form.

CHARLOTTE, NC - SEPT 13: Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback, Donovan McNabb, runs for yardage during their match with the Carolina Panthers at the Bank of America Stadium on Sept 13, 2008 in Charlotte, NC.

Jalen Hurts is a top quarterback and not only a good passer, he can rush well, which gives defences lots of headaches.

Seattle Seahawks showed lots of promise at the start of the season, but after a cruel loss to divisional rivals The Los Angeles Rams, they haven’t hit the form that had them well in contention to reach the play-offs.

Now at 6-7, the Seattle Seahawks must win 3 of their last 4 games to have any chance of entering the play-offs this year. Quarterback Geno Smith continues to show his is capable of leading his team into the postseason, but with a slight injury , this is a major concern for his team.

The Seattle Seahawks, like Philadelhpia Eagles, have had a tough run of games which included playing the favourties for the Super Bowl in two of the last three weeks and then in between, heading to Dallas to face The Cowboys.

Losing in a row is a concern, but the quality of the opposition has to come into consideration. Another tough test awaits them with the visit of The Philadelphia Eagles and it could well be another tough night for them.

The Philadelphia Eagles have to be better on offense this week as only scoring 13 points last week and then 19 points the week before will be a concern, especially conceding 33 points to Dallas and 42 to the 49ers.

However, The Seahawks don’t offer the same kind of offensive power that either of those teams do and The Eagles defence can have more success this week to gain good confidence they can get back to their devastating form which won them 10 games already this season.

The crowd will be up for it and The Eagles have to be ready for a battle and with multiple options on offence if they can get a lead, then they can manage the game to victory.

Punters Pub Best Bet

Philadelphia Eagles have had back to back losses against NFC rivals The 49ers and Dallas Cowboys and play a team who are not in the class of these opponents. The Eagles can win this road game and then aim to win the remaining games to secure the divisional title.

Jalen Hurts will look to rediscover his fine form and with multiple offensive targets, they can put up enough points to win the game well.

Therefore our punters.pub bet of the day is on the handicap point spread market and Philadelhpia -3.5pts to beat The Seattle Seahawks which is Evens at Bet365.
