Premier League – Burnley v Manchester United Sat 23rd Sept

Manchester United are in need of a big performance in the Premier League. Defeats on the road at Tottenham and Arsenal were cause for concern, but a 3-0 loss at home to Brighton was a massive concern for everyone connected with the club.

With many issue hanging over the club including winger Anthony and what goes on with him outside of football, Harry Maguire and his position within the club, plus Jaden Sancho and his inclusion in the starting line up.

Adding to this Ten Hag is now getting questions about some of his decisions including the signing of Onana to replace De Gea which although he is excellent with the ball, he has shown lapses of concentration when it matters most.

Manchester United were a whisker from taking a 2-1 lead at Arsenal, but for VAR to rule out the goal and then conceding two injury time goals, was a cruel ending for them. However, the way Manchester United performed against Brighton has taken them into a club in crisis as they look to mount a big campaign this year.

Another issue is the form of new signing Mason Mount, who hasn’t yet hit the heights of a few years ago when he was on top form for Chelsa.

The one positive for Manchester United is the signing of Hojlund who looked a handful when he came on against Arsenal and had a goal ruled out against Brighton.

Hojlund and Rashford should enjoy playing against this Burnley side who are leaking a lot of goals. With Fernandez and Erikson looking to gain confidence, this can be the perfect game for Manchester United to bounce back.

Garnacho is another young talent that Manchester United are putting a lot of hopes on and should he start the game, he can enjoy success against this Burnley defence who will need to tighten up after conceding 5 goals last time out at home to Spurs.

Burnley though are not a long ball team any more and do look to play an open and attractive style of football. In Foster they have a great young talent who can cause defences problems and they will look to attack Manchester United as often as they can.

Expect to see plenty of goals in this one as Burnley have already seen lots in their 3 home games already this season.

Punters Pub Best Bet

Manchester United can not afford to lose this one. With 3 defeats in the Premier League already this season it is time for them to show their class.

Burnley play an open style of football and this could be the perfect side for Manchester United to get back on track.

But don’t be thinking it will be easy as Burnley will look to play on the front foot and play fast flowing football between the lines and cause Manchester United alot of problems.

However, our Punters.pub bet of the day is Manchester United to win and both teams to score at 21/10 with Bet365.
