After losing 2-0 at home to Aston Villa Graham Potter was sacked as Chelsea Manager. Potter was unable to get a consistent tune out of his Chelsea side. Chelsea are a long way off Champions League qualification this season, however they are within sight of the Europa Conference League and Europa League positions and a win over Liverpool will firmly push them within reach of ending the season well.

The home side can also put a massive dent in Liverpool’s Champions League hopes as a defeat for Liverpool will leave an opening for Spurs and Newcastle to further push themselves clear of The Reds who have had an indifferent season so far.

Chelsea haven’t been at the races recently at home in the Premier Leauge. A 2-2 draw at home to relegation threatened Everton, then a 2-0 loss to Aston Villa isn’t going to cut it. Chelsea have a huge amount of talent and with Joao Felix finding his feet and Kai Havertz still possessing a danger to defences, Chelsea will be looking to put the pressure on Liverpool. Surely Chelsea players will respond to the loss on Saturday.

Liverpool are in the middle of a tough week, having faced Man City at the Etihad on Saturday and after taking 1-0 lead, fell away and lost 4.1. They now face another tough trip, this time to London to face Chelsea. League leaders Arsenal await Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday, so Tuesday night’s game is crucial to come away with a positive result.

Punter.Pub English Premier League – Chelsea v Liverpool Best Bet

Chelsea and Liverpool both come into this on the back to very poor results. Chelsea lost 2-0 at home to Aston Villa and with Potter now gone, the players need to step up and put on a better performance. There is no better way to do this than to stop Liverpool and their top 4 chase.

After taking a 1–0 lead, Liverpool were rocked by a 4 goal haul from Man City on Saturday. The Reds showed their poor defensive issue away from home and were convincingly beaten by title chasing Man City.

At Punters.pub, we expect this to be a cagey affair and looking at the way Chelsea have played at home in recent weeks, don’t expect a flurry of goals. Liverpool have struggled away from home having lost to Bournemouth before the international break.

Our best value bet for this match is under 2.5 goals at Evens with Bet365.

Leeds v Nottingham Forest – English Premier League – Tue 4th April

The fight for survival at the bottom end of the table is so fascinating. Up to 9 teams are still involved in the relegation scrap and two of those sides meet on Tuesday night at Elland Road. Leeds United floated with relegation last season and just survived on the final day of the season as a win at Brentford on the final day, gave them another season in the Premier League.

The Yorkshire outfit haven’t pushed on from last year and find themselves in the thick of it again at the wrong end of the season. They gave themselves a massive boost of avoiding the drop with a big win on the road at Wolves and will be looking to make home advantage count here to move up the table.

Leeds do have a few injuries in their ranks, so they will be hoping that they can field a strong side to face Nottingham Forest. For the away side, they have not been able to push themselves clear of the drop and in recent weeks, their home form has let them down, which is a worry, given their away form is one of the worst in the League.

With defeat at West Ham, followed by a home loss to Newcastle, Steve Coopers’ men really need a performance on Tuesday night to stop them from heading in the relegation zone. Brennan Johnson has been a star performer for them this season and with Morgan Gibbs-White enjoying his football, there is alot to like about Nottingham Forest.

Punters.pub Best Bet for Leeds v Nottingham Forest

Our Punters.pub pick for the Leed v Nottingham Forest is to back goals in the game. Leeds will look to attack from the off and with the fast paced football they play, they will look to get shots on target and the ball in the back of the net. After scoring 4 on the road at Wolves, expect a quick start in this one.

Nottingham Forest matches are usually full of goals so whether it’s for or against them, their matches are entertaining. Our top pick for this match is both teams to score at 10/11 with Bet365.
