Harry Kane Club after Summer Transfer Window – Ends Aug 31

Harry Kane is the all time leading goalscorer for Tottenham Hotspur and has one year left on his contract. Personally he has broken almost every record there is to break including being the all time England record goalscorer.

There is one record which is in his grasp and that is the all time Premier League record goalscorer which is held by Alan Shearer. Harry Kane is still over 30 goals away from this target so will have to play at least 2 more full seasons in the Premier League to get this, which some believe is a target for him.

Last season, even in a Spurs team which struggled, Harry Kane scored 30 Premier League goals which is a massive achievement. Kane is undoubtedly one of the best strikers in the world and some would also say, should be winning team trophies.. Premier League and Champions League’s to go with his personal accolades.

At Tottenham he has played under some very good coaches in Pochettino (now at Chelsea) Mourinho and Conte, but a team trophy has not been reached by the Club, albeit with a bit of luck, they could have delivered.

Now, Spurs have a new Head Coach, Ange Postecoglou, who has come from winning the treble at Celtic, and his priority would be to keep Harry Kane. He naturally wants to have the best players at his disposal, but realises that the Chairman Daniel Levy holds the cards where this is concerned.

Harry Kane has been the subject of strong interest from Bayern Munich and they are actively pursuing the services of Kane to be their number 9, but Kane has yet to comment on this speculation, and Munich have not met the valuation of the Chairman.

It’s sure to be an interesting six weeks before the transfer window closes for Tottenham and Harry Kane as it looks more than likely Harry Kane will not sign a new contract, so can go on a free transfer next Summer when his contract ends.

Daniel Levy needs to make a decision whether he cashes in on Kane now, or lets him go for nothing next season.
