The Open Championship Golf saw 90/1 Brian Harmen lift the claret Jug and fend off all the top Golfers, with many struggling with the conditions at Royal Liverpool John Rahm and Rory Mcllroy were the closest of the world’s best to get close to Harmen’s score, but the american was superb across all four days.
It was a tough course for many and some of the Golfers would have been glad to see the back of the United Kingdom.
Next up is a flight to Minneosta and The 3M Open Golf Championship. Last years winner Tony Finau heads the betting and after his impressive performance finishing with -17 and a 3 shot advantage, he comes back to defend his title.
Finau has been a player to watch this year and was fancied to go well at The Masters earlier this year along with the US PGA Championship. Finau has shown some inconsistency, but at the start of the year, he was playing good golf, with iron and putting being a strong point.
Emiliano Grillo and SungJae Im were also in form last year at this event and both players are in reasonably good form as they come to this tournament. Grillo finished tied 6th in The Open Championship, then Tied 15th a Travellers Championship. He will be a player to watch this week.
SungJae Im has a few top20 finishes in recent weeks including The Open Championship and Rocket Mortgage Classic. Im is a player who drives well and with a top iron play can pick up plenty of birdies when he is in rhythm.
This tournament has seen a very low score in each of the years it’s been running with -17, -15,-19, -21 in the four years it’s been a PGA Tour event so once again, expect excellent scoring by the world’s best.
A player in form is Lucas Glover, who didn’t play in the Open, so should be fresh of a 5th and 6th finish in John Deere Classic and Barbasol Championships.

With many of the world’s best skipping this PGA Tour event, it gives a chance for one of the regular tour players to take centre stage and the big prize on offer for the winner.
With a course which is more than likely to see low scores being had by most players, many of the leading Top100 golfers will fancy their chances here.
One player in top form with a T5 and T6 finish in recent weeks on the PGA tour, our Punters.pub bet of the week is Lucas Glover at 45/1 each-way ⅕ the odds 10 places with Coral.
