The race for promotion to the Premier League will once again be very competitive. Leicester City are unsurprisingly odds on favourites to bounce back to the Premier League and with their quality attacking strength, they should be able to secure a Top6 position and, from their view, look to secure automatic promotion.
Jamie Vardy, Daka and Iheanacho are likely to be too strong for the defences they come up against and with the strong home support, The Foxes will be ready to start well and use their bigger squad to cope with three games a week throughout the season.
Leeds United have Daniel Farke as new Head Coach and he as proven experience to guide a team to the Championship Top6 and with Leeds having good quality players in their squad, they are likely to be in the Top6 mix. Patrick Banford is likely to shine at this level and it Leeds get going, they good maintain a Top6 position all season.
Southampton are likely be an interesting watch this season as James Ward Prowse is likely to leave and also Lavia is wanted by Liverpool. Southampton do have Adam Armstrong in their ranks and this young striker should relish the Championship and along with Che Adams, Southampton have a pair of strikers likely to be able to score plenty.
Middlesbrough were brilliant for most parts of last season and in Chuba Akpom have a striker who can score plenty of goals in the Championship again. In Head Coach Michael Carrick, he is very well regarded and should Boro adapt quickly to the new season, then they are capable on going on a good unbeaten run and therefore a Top6 position should be well within their ranks.
Ipswich were outstanding last season and many believe they are likely to cope well with the Championship and push for a Top6 position. With strong home form, they could be a team to watch if they start the season well.
Sunderland finished in a Top6 position last season and they have added well to their squad this year. Ross Stewart and Jack Clarke can be key players once again for Sunderland and with a crop of young and hungry players, with experienced Heach Coach Tony Browbray in charge, the Black Cats could be a force this season.
