Premier League: Tottenham v West Ham – Thursday 7th December – KO 8.15pm

Spurs lost three in a row in the Premier League before getting a huge point at Manchester City on the weekend. With a number of injuries in their squad, Spurs performed superbly to take on the Champions, who they have a good record against.

Son scored in both ends, then De Celso equalised to make it 2-2, before Kulisevski equalised again to make the final score 3-3.

Spurs Coach Ange Postecoglou said he wouldn’t change their approach to games and this was evident against Manchester City, where a loss for Spurs, would have made it four defeats in a row.

Defeats at home to Chelsea, Away at Wolves, then at home to Aston Villa, took Spurs from 1st to 6th in no time at all.

But, Spurs will now head into two games against West Ham and Newcastle, knowing they take huge confidence from their performance against Man City and get back to winning ways. With a ‘Top4’ position well in their grasp, Spurs can get back to winning ways.

Attacking wise, Son, Kulisevski and De Celso are all in good form and between them, can do enough to secure all three points against West Ham.

The Hammers are performing well this year, but delivered a smash and grab away win at Burnley a few weeks ago, then a point at home to Crystal Palace. West Ham are conceding goals regularly and this will be a concern for David Moyes.

With games coming thick and fast with Premier League, Europa LEague and Carabao Cup, the players maye showing a bit of fatigue, but they do have class going forward with Kudos, Bowen and Antonio all looking to score goals.

Paqueta has now taken the reigns in the middle of the park and he is playing really well. However, the squad isn’t blessed with strength in depth and this game may be the perfect time for Spurs to get back to winning ways after three defeats and a loss.

It’s a London derby and West Ham will be up for it at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, so expect them to play on the front foot, but this game may come at the perfect time for the home side.

Spurs will take huge confidence after a point at Manchester City and scoring three goals at Etihad Stadium is excellent.

With their key centre back out injured, Spurs will likely need to score 2 or more goals as The Hammers are often on the scoresheet. But with three attacking players on form including Hung Min Son, Spurs can get the job done in an exciting game.

Therefore, our bet of the day is 2/1 Spurs to win and both teams to score with Betfair.
